PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Assist, in the direction and oversight of the Damage Prevention organization. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all Federal and state regulations and minimizing damage to PHI underground facilities. Protection of the Company’s assets by providing guidance to staff through the execution and management of field investigations to promote safe working practices among all stakeholders to reduce damages to our infrastructure. Make presentations to Senior Management regarding investigations with high impact potential. Assist in the effective implementation of strategic initiatives, business goals and objectives. Promote an environment of diversity and high productivity. Temporarily fill in for the Manager Damage Prevention. Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
JOB SCOPE
Day-to-day responsibilities in the functional and administrative supervision of team units. This includes oversight and assignment of work to staff. Minimize Company liability exposure. Maintain customer/client satisfaction while balancing effective claim performance. Contribute to and drive company performance. Self-motivated, flexible and able to handle multiple tasks.
