Provides leadership, direction, and professional development to a team of engineers and technical support personnel in the planning and execution of a variety of engineering activities including the upkeep of distribution construction, material, and engineering standard and guidelines that are associated with the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of PHI’s distribution system. Manages the implementation and review of the preventative maintenance programs for the distribution system to ensure that the programs are designed to ensure the reliability of the system and are aligned to regulatory requirements. Supports the failure analysis process for equipment to help proactively identify negative trends that may impact safety or reliability. Assist in the development and effective implementation of strategic initiatives. Assure the focus and attainment if company goals and objectives. Develop and maintain an environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion. Drives for innovation and the introduction of new equipment to help improve reliability and the overall performance of the system.

Works closely with other departments including construction, regional engineering, methods, quality control, reliability programs, supply, and safety. Supports learning, knowledge sharing, and best practices through Exelon and utility peer groups.






  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • At least 8 years of industry experience.
  • Broad knowledge of company, department policies, objectives, strategies, and goals; function being managed; applicable governmental laws and regulations.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively, drive execution and ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of regulatory issues.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, customer awareness and ability to create value.


  • Graduate degree or Graduate Level work in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
  • Project Management Professional
  • Professional Engineer License
  • 3 years as a supervisor or manager
